MORRIS PANG 彭进成 ［目中无人］Music Album Design
The Brief:
Black and white, and make it look bold and fierce. The feeling of being in a big city is also part of the theme.
Execution:
In Chinese, the phrase [目中无人] means 'being arrogant and no-one else matters'. In Morris's concept, it also means 'fully focusing on a matter/person until one forgets anyone else', and this is his attitude in completing the album production in just a few months time. Playing with the strong, hard and edgy Chinese characters, I proposed such cover for him, making sure that his eyes are the main focus of the overall visual, with the Chinese text [目中无人] is still strongly visible at a glance.
As for the rest of the lyric book design, visuals and photos selection are placed accordingly to the lyrics, treating it like an individual poster for each page.
